INTRODUCTION
=============
The SafeOFF provides the protection if user accidentally presses the
power switch. When user presses the power switch, a dialog will pop up
for confirmation.

- If the user selects 'NO', the dialog dismisses and the system retains
  'ON' state.

- If the user selects 'Yes', SafeOFF will ask Windows 95 to shutdown the
  computer. Therefore, the opened files can be saved and closed safely.

- If none of the alternatives is chosen, SafeOFF waits for 30 seconds
  and shuts down the computer as if 'Yes' is selected.


SETUP 
=====
To setup SafeOFF, you simple run 'setup' in the SafeOFF package.


UNINSTALL
==========
To uninstall the SafeOFF, press CTRL+ALT+DEL to end the SafeOFF task. Select
the Add/Remove Porgram in Control Panel, then select 'SafeOFF for Windows 95'
for uninstallation.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
