How do I update my MA401's firmware to version 1.3.4?
=====================================================
1. Install "winupdate" program into your local hard drive
-- Run setup.exe in the Winupdate directory in your MA401/MA301 Resource CD.
Follow the instructions and install the program into your local hard drive.
2. Run "winupdate" shortcut from your desktop.
3. Winupdate window opens. Make sure "Opened: NETGEAR MA401 Wireless PC Card"
appears in the "Valid Adapters" section.
4. Click on "Download..." button and open file "OEMRelease.oem" in the
"\Firmware\1.3.4" directory.
Note: It's important that the OEMRelease.oem selected is the one resides
in the \Firmware\1.3.4 directory and not others.
5. Click on "Update!"
6. Accept the warning message and click on "Download" button.
7. Click on "Update" in the Update information Window.
8. Click "OK" when the update is finished.
The MA401 firmware ver. 1.3.4 update is now complete.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
