1. Ensure that the Winmodem is NOT a FRENCH or GERMAN retail model, 
   This can be verified by typing ATI7<CR> from a terminal application
   such as SuperTerminal or HyperTerminal (Win95)
2. Ensure all other Windows applications are closed prior to upgrade,
   and if necessary restart Windows and re-run the utility
3. This v.90 upgrade is for use with Windows 95 and Windows 3.x ONLY
4. At the end of the upgrade, reboot your PC when prompted

Note
* For v.90, the Winmodem will need to be re-initialized with AT&F1&W
  in a terminal application such as SuperTerminal or HyperTerminal
  (Win95)
* The Sportster Winmodem will still be listed as either a Sportster 
  Winmodem 33.6 or Sportster Winmodem 56K model
* In Dial Up Networking, the connect rate displayed is the DTE rate

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
