AWARD Bios-Update for HOT-55x Mainboard Version

Attention:
This file may not be up to date.
We are not liable for any damages caused by the bios-update.

1) Check programming voltage of EEPROM
   JP19 2-3: 12V (Intel -i- and MX Chips)
   JP19 1-2: 5V
2) Do not load any memory manager.
3) Start DOS and execute: FLASH533 55XWUQ0B.BIN
   "AFLH52B" and "FLASH533" are two program versions used to
   update Flash-EPROMs. In some cases program may abort before
   it starts the programming - then you can try the other version.
4) After programming, turn off your system for a moment.

5) This BIOS is for the 557 ver. 1.32 & the 555 ver. 1.52/1.53 & the 559 ver. 1.3
   NOT for 557 ver. 1.5 & NOT for 555A ver. 3.0 & NOT for 559 ver. 1.5 !!!

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
