For those who in the future have to used Forced parameters if would be
good to have a listing of the paramter sets that work. From Siswoyo's
report below, there is effective:
                                           
Forced=3,0x1c0,0x2f8   Sisoyo
Forced=3,0x130,0x2f8    ,from prior reports
Forced=3,0x108,0x2e8 
Forced=3,0xbc, 0x2f8   16 bit PCMCIA

Irq=3 BaseAddress=0x260 ComAddress=0x2f8  ,0260-035f : ltserial
   ..................
ALL,
if you don't see your parameters above, please add in a line and resend
to the List, For those you not needing Forcing, the parameters used can
be read out of /var/log/messages . Additionally, the command
$ cat /proc/ioports |grep ltserial  
  0260-035f : ltserial   
displays the CPU address usage range,  which for me shows as above.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
