    This installation assumes that the adapter is working properly.
    Getting Started will describe the installation instructions.

 Requirements

     A PCI compatible computer
     An ODI compatible network operating system
     A PCI Family Series Adapter
     A knowledge of basic OS/2 commands and editing text files

 Minimum Skill Level
 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ
     A knowledge of basic OS/2 commands
     A knowledge of editing text files
     A knowledge of OS/2 basic file structure (CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT)
     A knowledge of the network driver configuration being used

 Getting Started
 ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ

     Install the Requester on the workstation.
      For information on the installation procedure, please refer to
      Novell's "NetWare Requester for OS/2" manual.

     Copy TEPCI.SYS into your C:\NETWARE directory.

     Modify your CONFIG.SYS file to include the following device driver
      statement:

         DEVICE=C:\NETWARE\TEPCI.SYS

     Modify your NET.CFG file for special settings you need.  For information
      on the various keywords, please refer to Novell's manual or the sample
      NET.CFG file file included in the provided diskette.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
