Upgrade 12678 (12679 for UK) Trust 56k V92 External Modem firmware and driver to V92:


1. Make sure the modem is turned on and installed in Windows.
2. Run the downloaded firmware upgrade program by double-clicking "Mupdate.exe" in Windows.
3. The application will detect the COM port to which the modem is connected.
4. When the program asks for the BIN file, select the downloaded file "M21f30.BIN"
5. When program run is finished, it will show a successfull message.
6. update the driver with installing the new downloaded V92 driver.


The modem is now upgraded to V92.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
