ICS WaveFront Lite Patch File

This patch file fixes the following games:
"Magic Carpet" by BullFrog
"Theme Park" By BullFrog
IMPORTANT: This patch file only works with DOS drivers 3.7.1 or later.
Typically this driver is called WAVETIDE.EXE, WFLITE.EXE or
MVLITE.EXE.
This fix consists of three files:
hmimdrv.386 - An updated sound driver for the games listed above.
filefix.exe - A utility to load the sound driver from the hard
disk instead of the CD-ROM
readme.txt - What you are reading now.
Installation Directions:
1. Make sure that you have loaded a DOS driver with version 3.7.1 or higher.
This information is displayed when you load the driver (usually during the
boot process). If not, please obtain the updated driver from your card
manufacturer.
2. Place the hmimdrv.386 file in the C:\ directory. THIS IS IMPORTANT.
Otherwise, the filefix progam won't work properly.
Runtime directions:
1. Run the filefix program, by typing FILEFIX.
2. Run the game as you normally would. Select MPU-401/General MIDI as the
music deivce.

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
