ICS WaveFront Lite Patch File

This patch file fixes the following games:
"NASCAR Racing" by Papyrus
"Descent" by Interplay
"BattleDrome" by Dynamix/Sierra On-Line
"Under a Killing Moon" by Access
IMPORTANT: This patch file only works with DOS drivers 3.7.1 or later.
Typically this driver is called WAVETIDE.EXE, WFLITE.EXE or
MVLITE.EXE.
This fix consists of two files:
hmimdrv.386 - An updated sound driver for the games listed above.
readme.txt - What you are reading now.
Installation Directions:
1. Make sure that you have loaded a DOS driver with version 3.7.1 or higher.
This information is displayed when you load the driver (usually during the
boot process). If not, please obtain the updated driver from your card
manufacturer.
2. Overwrite the hmimdrv.386 file contained in the game directory with the
new one. (For "Battledrome," look in the \BD\SOUND directory. For "NASCAR
Racing," look in the \NASCAR directory. For "Descent," look in the
\DESCENT directory. For "Under a Killing Moon," look in the \MOON
directory.)
3. Configure the game to use MPU-401/General MIDI as the music device.
Runtime Directions:
1. Run the game as you normally would.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
