README95.TXT - IGA168x Windows 95 Drivers Note.

0.Installation.
  Please read carefully this file before doing installation.

  ****************************************************************************
  * ANY PROBLEMS WHEN DOING INSTALLATION, PLEASE TRY TO SET SYSTEM BACK TO VGA
  * MODE, AND REINSTALL.
  ****************************************************************************

  - From Start button, choose RUN, and then type A:\SETUP95
  - Driver and utility will be automatically installed to WINDOWS,
    and the current resolution setting will be 640x480x256.

  - Files for Windows 95:
         + README95.TXT      : This file, will be posted on screen when
                               user run SETUP95.
         + SETUP95.EXE       : Setup file.
         + *.DRV,*.DLL       : Driver files for WINDOWS 95.
         + *.EXE,*.HLP       : Utility files.

1.Version
  Windows Drivers version 1.15.

2.Useful Information.
  When user can not startup Windows, try to reset/turn off and on, then press
  F8 key when machine is booting up, choose Command Prompt option to go to DOS,
  or Safe mode to startup Windows at safety mode.

2.1.Software Cursor.
  Software cursor will be automatically set, but user can override it by
  adding below line in SYSTEM.INI

  [DISPLAY]
  swcursor=1

2.2.Adjust Screen.
  User could set CRT timing to wrong value, so the next startup can cause the
  unvisible screen. To disable this feature, open IGADISP.INI, section Utility
  entry AdjustScreen and set to 0

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
