Getting Started will describe the installation instructions. Please have the Windows for Workgroup Installation media ready for any requests made by the installation program. Getting Started ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Note: The LanModem WFW 3.11 driver use the NDIS 3.0 specs. Under DOS, install PCMCIA software of your choice or add the following line in CONFIG.SYS before DEVICE=EMM386.EXE: DEVICE=C:\CARDEN.EXE /COM=n /IO=nnn (Modify path accordingly.) When a LAN driver is installed, Windows for Workgroups will present a list of all available drivers. Select Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter for third-party adapters not included in the list. Windows for Workgroups will ask for the path of the driver. -Insert the LanModem driver disk into Drive A: -Provide the following path A:\WFW311 -The appropriate drivers will be copied add -Some additional drivers will be needed from the WFW installation disks. Once the system is finished close NETWORK SETUP and allow the system to reboot. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
