The "X Session FL Studio" XLM Bank has 2 presets with transport controls mapped for FL Studio 6. (This was created with FL Studio 6, but should work with other versions). The remaining presets were copied from the factory defaults. First, in FL Studio, go to Options>MIDI Settings, select and enable the X-Session for MIDI input, then set the controller type to "Tascam US-428". The buttons 1, 2, and 3 are assigned to play/pause, stop (which stops and returns to the start), and record toggle. Buttons 4 and 5 are assigned to RW and FF and only work when pressed down (when you let go, FL Studio stops RW'ing or FF'ing). Buttons 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0 are assigned to toggle on/off (i.e. mute) and are ready to use with FL Studio's "Link to Controller" function. All of the knobs, and the crossfader are ready to assign to different parameters (i.e. volume or pan) using "Link to Controller". For Preset 1, everything is assigned to MIDI channel 1; For Preset 2, everything is assigend to MIDI channel 2.* **Note** Knob C8 (Master Volume) and the transport buttons (1-5) are assigned to MIDI Channel 1 on both Presets so you have transport and master volume control on both presets** Enjoy!Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
