Ozonic Cubase.txt Driver File Contents (m-audio_axiomAIR61_win_x86_x64.zip)

Ozonic - Setup w/ Cubase.

This Zip file contains 1 XML file for Cubase (Ozonic Cubase.xml) and 1 for Enigma to be loaded into your Ozonic (Ozonic Enigma 4 Cubase.xml). By importing this File into a Generic Remote setup in Cubase, you can use factory preset 1 on your Ozonic for volume, panning, mute, and transport control over Cubase.

This setup was created using Cubase SX 3.1.1.

First load the "Ozonic Enigma 4 Cubase.XML" file into your Ozonic and recall Bank A preset 1. See the included tutorial "Enigma - importing and uploading presets" for instructions on how to do this.

In Cubase, go to the Devices Menu and choose "Device Setup". Click the "+" sign in the top left and select Generic Remote. The new Generic Remote should automatically be selected, but if not, it's under Remote Devices>Generic Remote. Click the "Import" button, then locate and Open the "Ozonic Cubase.xml" file. At the top, choose your Ozonic Keyboard MIDI for MIDI input, click Apply, then click OK.

The controls are mapped as follows:

The transport control buttons all function. The Fast Forward and ReWind toggle FF & RW, the Stop button stops with 1 press, and returns to where play began with the second press, the record button records, and play just plays.

The 1st 8 sliders on the Ozonic are assigned to control volume level for AUdio Tracks 1-8, and the 9th fader is assigned to control the Stereo Output bus/fader (this should effective be a Master Volume Control).

The 8 knobs are assigned to control panning on Audio Track 1-8.

The buttons below each fader is programmed to control mute on/off for Audio Tracks 1-8 and the Stereo Out fader.

All of these controls are assigned to MIDI Ch 1, so you can re-assign the global or zone channels for the keys without affecting your remote control functionality.
