Oxygen 8v2 Cubase.txt Driver File Contents (m-audio_axiomAIR61_win_x86_x64.zip)

Oxygen 8v2 - Setup w/ Cubase.

This Zip file contains an XML file for Cubase (NOT for Enigma). By importing this File into a Generic Remote setup in Cubase, you can use factory preset 1 on your Oxygen 8v2 for volume and transport control over Cubase.

This setup was created using Cubase SX 3.1.1.

In Cubase, go to the Devices Menu and choose "Device Setup". Click the "+" sign in the top left and select Generic Remote. The new Generic Remote should automatically be selected, but if not, it's under Remote Devices>Generic Remote. Click the "Import" button, then locate and Open the "Oxygen 8v2 Cubase.xml" file. At the top of the device setup window, choose your keyboard/device for MIDI input, click Apply, then click OK.

The controls are mapped as follows:

The transport control buttons all function. The Fast Forward and ReWind buttons toggle FF & RW, the loop button toggles cycle (aka loop) on/off, the Stop button stops with 1 press, and returns to where play began with the second press, and play just plays.

The 8 knobs are assigned to control volume on Audio Tracks 1-8.
