O2 Enigma Cubase SX 3.txt Driver File Contents (m-audio_axiomAIR61_win_x86_x64.zip)

O2 - Setup w/ Cubase SX3.

This Zip file contains 1 XML file for the O2 "O2 Engima Cubase SX3.xml" that needs to be loaded into the O2 using Enigma, and 1 for Cubase "O2 Cubase SX3.xml". By importing this File into a Generic Remote setup in Cubase, you will preset 1 on your O2 (after loading the setup from this zip file) for remote control over Cubase. The remaining presets were copied from the factory defaults.

This setup was created using Cubase SX3 (but should work for Nuendo 3) and a 24 track aduio template. For more information on the Generic Remote, please refer to P286 of the Cubase Operation Manual.

To setup the Generic Remote in Cubase, go to the Devices Menu and choose "Device Setup". Click the "+" sign in the top left and select Generic Remote. The new Generic Remote should automatically be selected, but if not, it's under Remote Devices>Generic Remote. Click the "Import" button, then locate and Open the "O2 Cubase SX3.xml" file. At the top of the device setup window, choose your keyboard/device for MIDI input, click Apply, then click OK.

The controls are mapped as follows:

The volume fader C9 is mapped to control the Stereo Out fader in cubase (Master Volume).

The 8 knobs are assigned to control volume level for the 1st 8 audio tracks.

The buttons below the knobs are mapped as follows:

C12 = ReWind on/off

C13 = Fast Forward on/off

C14 = Stop, 1 press stops, 2nd press returns to where play began

C15 = Play

C16 = Record on/off

C17 = Cycle (aka loop) on/off

C18 = Metronome (aka Click) on/off

C19 = Precount on/off

*All of the controllers are assigned to MIDI Ch 1, so you can changte the MIDI channel the keyboard is transmitting on without affecting the controllers.
