WLI-USB-KS11G firmware update Ver1.7.4

How to use:

1. Insert WLI-USB-KS11G into your PC to update the firmware.
2. If the Install Wizard does not launch automatically, the WLI-USB-KS11G 's driver is not installed. Please see the instruction of the manual belong to this product and finish the installation of the driver. 
3. Double click [winupdate.exe] file.
4. Firmware update program will launch.
5. If your PC is not able to find WLI-USB-KS11G, "Wireless LAN adapter is not found" will be displayed. Please check the driver is installed correctly or not.
6. If your PC recognizes the driver, then click "Update firmware".
7. Shows current firmware information and updated firmware information.(It will be shown only if the updates succeed)
8. Start updating the firmware.




Introduction of software
This software is WLI-USB-KS11G's firmware (Ver1.7.4).

Note:
-  This software is for Windows and if you double click the file, it will be uncompressed and start the program.  
-  If there is a problem to connect Buffalo's 802.11g products (WBR-G54AWLA-G54AWHR-G54), you need to update the access point side's firmware.

Limitation:
-  Make sure WLI-USB-KS11G's driver is installed and plugged into your PC correctly.
-  If communication load is high, the update may fail occasionally.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
