; Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

;

; This inf file provides the default sections that must be

; included by external INFs which require the UmPass driver.

; The Class/ClassGuid and Hardware ID matches for this driver

; package are not relevant for external INFs including this

; driver. The including driver may be any class and match

; any Hardware ID.

;

; An external INF is expected to include the sections of this

; INF by adding Include/Needs directives for each possible

; [DDInstall.*] section to the corresponding [UmPass.*]

; sections as shown below.

;

; Note that an external INF must have each of these DDInstall

; sections, and reference each of these UmPass sections regardless

; of whether either INF currently specifies any directives for

; that sections. This allows future extensibility of the base

; inbox INF sections to apply to existing external drivers.

;

;

; [DDInstall]

; Include=umpass.inf

; Needs=UmPass

; ; also include any existing DDInstall directives

;

; [DDInstall.HW]

; Include=umpass.inf

; Needs=UmPass.HW

; ; also include any existing DDInstall.HW directives

;

; [DDInstall.CoInstallers]

; Include=umpass.inf

; Needs=UmPass.CoInstallers

; ; also include any existing DDInstall.CoInstallers directives

;

; [DDInstall.Interfaces]

; Include=umpass.inf

; Needs=UmPass.Interfaces

; ; also include any existing DDInstall.Interfaces directives

;

; [DDInstall.Services]

; Include=umpass.inf

; Needs=UmPass.Services

; ; also include any existing any DDInstall.Services directives

;

;

; ;Note that Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 (NT 6.0) include

; ;the umpass.sys binary, but do NOT include the UmPass service

; ;configuration for it. There is also no common umpass.inf, so

; ;the UMPass service must be added directly by each external INF

; ;that requires it.

;

; ;This is not valid for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 (NT 6.1)

; ;or later however, where external INFs are expected to reference

; ;the UmPass service configuration and other default settings

; ;from umpass.inf.

;

; ;To support both versions, an external INF should use decorated

; ;models sections, as shown below. In the sections below, note that:

; ;

; ; .NT.6.0 includes Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.

; ;

; ;  .NT.6.1 includes Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2,

; ; *AND LATER* (since no higher version is specified.)
