          Installing a NIC in a NetWare 16-Bit DOS ODI Client

This file describes installing the driver for a 16-bit NetWare client
running DOS.

System Requirements
===================
- Novell NetWare 4.x or 5.x network operating system
- Only one 3Com 3Com 10/100 PCI NIC w/3XP (3C990B-TX-M) NIC installed

Installing the Driver
=====================
1. Copy 3C99X.COM from the EtherCD into the directory where the NWClient
   software is installed from Novell Diskettes.

   For more information on this step, refer to Novell documentation for
   installing 16-bit DOS client driver.

2. Copy EL99XRUN.OUT to the same directory where the 3C99X.COM was copied.

   Without this file the driver cannot initialize the card. Make sure the
   NIC is installed and that the cabling is connected to the network.
