ASIO/EASI/WDM drivers for DiO 2448 release notes:

1. If you're using EASI/ASIO with a midi/audio sequencer be sure to disable the GM-Softwaresynth since it blocks the ASIO/EASI output stream. In Cubase this is done in the MME device setup controlpanel (setupmme.exe), in Logic Audio you have to edit the win.ini entry:

[Logic]
.
.
MidiOut_Microsoft_GS_Wavetable_SW_Synth=0 <- this entry has to be set to 0

2. All special settings of the DiO 2448 are accessible via the mixer panels advanced settings buttons. If these buttons do not appear in your mixer, you have to enable them in the options menu of the Volume controlpanel (by selecting 'Advanced Controls').

3. Some S/PDIF devices supply an inverted signal. this will cause distorted output of the S/PDIF in monitor. In this case you have to select 'Invert SPDIF in' in Advanced Settings of the S/PDIF in line of the recording controlpanel.

4. S/PDIF I/O is by default set to 44.1kHz, 16 bit. 48kHz and 24 bit I/O can be selected in Advanced Settings of the Volume Control line.

5. Monitoring of S/PDIF in via analog out is by default enabled. To disable use the Advanced Settings of the Wave Monitor line.
