README.TXT Driver File Contents (Duo_WinXP_1.26.EXE)

1. The device operates in one of the 3 modes: ASIO, EASI, MME. Use the system tray icon
"M Audio USB Audio Mode:..." to switch between modes. A mode must be set before using
an application. To select a mode, right-click on the icon and left-click on a mode.
For example, Cubase uses mode ASIO. Logic Audio uses either EASI or
ASIO mode. The EASI and ASIO drivers must not be used at the same time!

2. Sometimes it's necessary to change ASIO or EASI driver settings before launching
an application, which uses these drivers.
Right-click on the system tray icon "M Audio USB Audio Mode:..." and select
"M Audio USB ASIO/EASI Control Panel", left-click on it. Follow the prompts.

3. Double-clicking the system tray icon "M Audio USB Audio Mode:..." displays
a dialog. The dialog can be used instead of right-clicking on the system-tray icon.

4. To find out the current mode of the device, place the tip of the mouse on the top
of the system tray icon "M Audio USB Audio Mode:..." and wait a second. The tip
pops up showing the current mode: "M Audio USB Audio Mode: MME" or
"M Audio USB Audio Mode: ASIO/EASI".
