	Job Registration Tool version 4.3

DR-2050C_32.exe and the DR-2050C_64.exe are installers for the device driver and the Job Registration tool for the DR-2510C. They are executables that can be used for either a local installation or for a silent and remote deployment. DR-2050C_32.exe is an installer for the 32 bit operating systems including Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows VISTA. DR-2050C_64.exe is an installer for the 64 bit operating systems including Windows XP and Windows VISTA. Both versions of the installer contain the localised version of the installer and driver for English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Dutch.

Local Installation

The installation of the software can be installed onto a computer directly by the standard practice of running the executable. The “exe” file is copied onto the computer and then executed. The user will have to respond to the questions that are asked and agree to the EULA. Once this is completed both the device driver and the Job Registration Tool are installed and ready for use. Note the user will need to be logged on with administrative privileges to perform this task.

Deployment

The deployment of the device driver and Job registration Tool will require the extraction of the MSI from the executable. This can be accomplished by running the executable with the optional command "/a", e.g. DR-2050C_32.exe /a. This will prompt the user for a location to save the extracted files necessary for a deployment of the driver and tool. Once extracted, copy the files and folder onto the computer that is to be used for deployment and configure the necessary administrative tool for the installation. For the steps necessary to configure the deployment see the instructions in the relevant the software management tool (Active Directory, Software Management Server etc.).
