    **	To make a flash update disk, follow the following steps:

        1. Start with a newly-formatted, bootable floppy disk.

        2. Unarchive the files in the 3637-01.EXE archive on to this flash
           update floppy disk.

        3. Boot the system from the flash update floppy disk.

           The AUTOEXEC.BAT file on the floppy will automatically start the
           BIOS reflashing process.

        4. Wait until the reflashing is completes. Remove the diskette
	   at this time, then cycle the power of the unit.


    **	To make a flash recovery disk or language update disk, follow the
	following steps:

        1. Start with a newly-formatted, bootable floppy disk.

        2. Unarchive the files in the 3637-01.EXE archive on to this flash
           update floppy disk.

	3. Rename the AUTOEXEC.BAT file to UPDATE.BAT, eg.
		REN AUTOEXEC.BAT UPDATE.BAT

	4. Rename the FMUP.BAT file to AUTOEXEC.BAT, eg.
		REN FMUP.BAT AUTOEXEC.BAT

	5. Boot the system from the floppy disk.

	   The AUTOEXEC.BAT file of the floppy will start the Flash Memory
	   UPdate utility. This a menu driven program, follow the directions.

	This disk will also work as a flash recovery disk with the BIOS
	recovery feature described in the system manual.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
