README.TXT:   Suggested methods to update the BIOS.
If you use Disk Compression software, use the floppy based method.  If you 
do not use Disk Compression software you can use either the Floppy based 
method or the Hard drive method.  For more information see your manual or 
contact the ZDS Customer Assistance Center:

   Floppy Based Method
        1. Insert the update disk into the floppy drive.
	2. Goto step 4 below

   Hard Drive Based Method (only if you do not use Disk Compression)
        1. Create the directory C:\UPDFLASH on your hard drive.
        2. Insert the update disk into the floppy drive and transfer all of 
           the files on the update disk to the C:\UPDFLASH directory.  If you 
           do not have a floppy drive, then use INTERLNK to transfer the files.
        3. Remove the disk from the floppy drive.
CONTINUE:
        4. Switch to AC mode (If not already on AC power)
        5. Enter Ctrl-Alt-Ins to go to the ZDS Utilities menu.
        6. Enter the option to select "BIOS Update".
        7. Choose the appropriate language.
        8. Confirm you wish to update the BIOS by selecting "Yes".
        9. When instructed to cycle power turn the machine off, wait for 5
           seconds, then turn the machine on.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
