To users of the Intel motherboards

When the one of the following motherboard of Intel products is used,
the problem that our DVD-ROM is not recognized with BIOS and OS occurs. 

It is a problem by compatibility with Intel's BIOS,
and this problem does not occur in the motherboard equipped with a similar
chip set if BIOS is not the Intel's one.

    Intel   VC820   (Chipset : Intel i820(E))

    The problem will occur though there is no problem in early versions
    BIOS of VC820.
    If VC820's BIOS update is done to latest BIOS of the Web site of Intel
    or VC820 is what bought recently, then this problem occurs. 

    Some computer of some makers which equiped the OEM mode of these Intel's
    motherboard, a similar problem occurs.

�EAction method to this problem

    Please download the latest version from our web site and unarchive it.
    Next, you need change the setting of BIOS with doing the following steps,
    because DVD-ROM drive is not available with default BIOS setting.
    If you do the following steps, then the drive can be recognized by BIOS
    even in the state of an old firmware.

    1)  Power on your PC.
    2)  When show the Intel logo or BIOS POST sequence, press "F2" key.
        Then BIOS SETUP UTILITY apppers on the display.
    3)  Select "Advanced" from menu.
    4)  Select "IDE Configuration" and press "Enter" key.
    5)  Select the position of connecting your DVD-ROM, and press "Enter" key.
        Factry default setting of DVD-ROM drive is the "Master" configuration.
        Therefore, normally you may choose the "Secondary IDE Master", but if you
        change the configuration of DVD-ROM drive then certify the configuration 
        and the position of your DVD-ROM.
    6)  Next, if show "Type  [Auto]" on the display, press "Enter" key and select
        "CD-ROM" or "ATAPI Removable" from the list and press "Enter" key again.
    7)  Next, press "F10" key, then show the message "Save configuratio changes and
        exit now ?". Please select "[Yes]" and press "Enter" key.

    8)  When PC reboot is completed, please update the firmware of DVD-ROM
        according to the procedure written in the "readme.txt" file.

    9)  When the update operation is completed, then repeat the step 1 to 5.
        And change the "Type    [CD-ROM]" or "Type  [ATAPI Removable]" to
        "Type   [Auto]".
        Please save the BIOS configuration as same operation of the step 7.

    When the above steps are completed, then DVD-ROM drives can be recognized
    correctly by BIOS and OS on Intel's motherbord.
