To write the CIS run (Without Card and socket services loaded !!): WRITECIS SDUAL400.210 (or LDUAL400.210) <for dual function card 91C94/96 based> WRITECIS SDUAL8k.210 (or LDUAL8K.210) <for dual function card 91C95 based> WRITECIS SSINGLE.210 (or SSINGLE.21) <for single function card> The following files, which use the LAN9000 name instead of SMC9000 have been added: LDUAL400.210 LDUAL8K.210 LSINGLE.210 Be aware that drivers dated earlier than July '98 will not work with the new CISs. Any driver dated after July '98 will work with either the old or new CISs Select from the menu the card you are programming. Single function cards use option 1. Dual function cards based on 91C94/96 use option 2. Dual function cards based on 91C95 use option 3. WARNING: The CIS was preprogrammed at SMC, you shouldn't need to do this unless you want to change it. Also, by using the files provided in this directory the Unique Node address currently written in the card's CIS will be overwritten with: 00800F000000 for single function cards 00800F000001 for dual function cards You can set each board's node address uniquely by editing the CIS file and changing the number before programing each board. The files DUALXXXX.500 are 5.0 compliant CISs for the dual function card. All drivers found in this package are written for the 2.1 compliant CIS which makes them incompatible with the 5.0 ones. If you would like to use a card with a 5.0 CIS contact SMC Components Division for the proper drivers.Download Driver Pack
