                          JUMP Manager

Welcome to JUMP Manager - the new generation software for
management of Uninterruptible PowerSupplies (UPS) produced by GE Digital Energy.
JUMP Manager is written in Java and supports virtually all platforms
having Java runtime environment version 1.2 or higher (it requires also
TCP/IP protocol to be installed and running on machines where it is used).

JUMP Manager has many advantages and interesting features
useful for monitoring and managing all UPSes produced by GE Digital Energy
- both big and small units.
The software package consists of communication server, running in the
background. Standard Web browser is used as a presentation client for
monitoring, configuring and managing of UPSes. The communication server of
the software has a built in Web server with servlet technology that
enables you to perform all activities on managed UPSes using plain Web
browser without using any plugin or applet (only Javascript is lightly used).
On top of that small WAP server is also built in to be able to access
UPS info using WAP protocol.

Please read about installation and how to start working with JUMP
Manager in the file install.txt located in the JUMPManager directory.
The Getting Started manual can be found in the manual directory.
