Attention
1. Back up your data.
2. Close all open applications.
3. Connect the power cable if you are not using a desktop.
4. Disconnect all external storage devices.
5. Reboot the system before performing firmware update.

Firmware upgrade through the Windows utility

Procedure
1. Close all open applications and save your work before the firmware update process.
2. Go to the folder where you have downloaded the package.
3. Run the firmware (FW) update utility with administrator privileges (right-click the file that is named irmfuu_7.1.2_win64.exe and select Run as administrator). Firmware upgrade proceeds and the utility closes automatically.
4. Reboot the system to complete to complete the update.
5. To confirm whether the firmware update was successful, open Device Manager -> open Disk drives -> right-click the SSD -> click Properties -> choose Hardware Ids from the list under Details tab and check the firmware version.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
