1. Hardware notes

The Practical PC336 ENET PCMCIA adapter supports "Hot" insertion and removal.
Thus, the PCMCIA adapter can be inserted into and/or removed from a PC
that is either switched off or switched on.
The Practical PC336 ENET PCMCIA adapter has full support for Card Services
version 2.10, including automatic resources allocation, Hot Swapping and
Plug-and-Play features. If you have a Card and Socket Services software
version less than 2.10, please contact your computer or operating system
manufacturer to receive an upgrade.
2. The Practical Wizard system requirements
-----------------------------------------
We recommend that a disk cache program (SMARTDRV.EXE) and the mouse
driver are loaded before running the Wizard to speed up the installation
and file copying procedures.
Important! Make sure that your CONFIG.SYS file has "FILES=30" line. 30 is
the minimum value. Otherwise the Wizard will not be able to copy drivers
from the distribution diskette.
3. Installing Practical PC336 ENET Support Driver manually

IMPORTANT NOTE. THIS SECTION IS FOR EXPERIENCED USERS ONLY!
Using the Practical Wizard program you can install and configure
the PC336 ENET Support Driver in a much easier and safer way.
This and the following sections describe manual installation and
the command line parameters of the Practical PC336 ENET Support driver.
In order to work with the Practical PC336 ENET PCMCIA adapter, you need
to install the PC336 ENET Support Driver. Add the following line to your
CONFIG.SYS file (after the Card Services drivers, if any):
DEVICE = path\PPDRV.EXE [parameters]
The Practical PC336 ENET Support Driver may also be loaded from the DOS command
prompt or from a batch file:
path\PPDRV.EXE [parameters]
Without command line parameters, the driver uses default or auto-configured
settings. To customize the driver's settings, use the following
syntax:
PPDRV [/irq=x] [/intm=x] [/inte=x] [/mem=x] [/iom=x] [/ioe=x]
[socket=x] [type=x] [/base=x] [/fast=x] [/direct] [/eightbit]
[/unload] [/help]
The full list of the parameters is described in the following section of
this document.
IMPORTANT ! Incorrect use of parameters may result in faulty
operation of the PCMCIA adapter. Make sure you are familiar with the
different parameters before using them.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
