Installation instructions for Cadet Radio Windows NT 4.0 Driver. 1. The install program requires the following files: cadet.inf - included in this directory cadet.dll - built from the previous directory cadet.exe - built from the previous directory genport.sys - built from the Windows NT 4.0 DDK 2. Install PnPISA driver. This file is inclued on the NT 4.0 Install CD, in the drvlib directory. Right click on the isapnp.inf file in explorer, then "Install". Note: if you have installed SP3 ( which I hope you have ), use the ISAPNP.INF file from the SP3 CD. This file can be found in the drvlib directory. 3. Reboot. 3. After you have booted to NT. Shutdown NT and insert the Cadet Radio Card. Turn on the Machine and boot to NT. 4. When prompted with a new card from the PnP Manager. Select "Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer" and select the directory the cadet.inf file is located. 5. Follow the instructions. You may need to reboot. 6. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
