Windows 95, 98 & 2000
Introduction:
-------------
This document describes the procedure to install Windows 95, 98 and
2000 driver for AOpen AON-201 10M PCI Ethernet Adapter.
Location of Driver: \WIN95\AON201.SYS
\WIN98\AON201.SYS
\WIN2000\AON201.SYS
Before you start with the following installation process, make sure that
your adapter be properly configured and installed in your PCI bus slot.
Installing driver procedure on Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000 :
-------------------------------------------------------------
1. Start Windows 95/98/2000.
2. The Windows 95/98/2000 system software finds the adapter.
3. You will be asked to provide the adapter driver from the
manufacturer.
4. Insert the driver diskette in drive A and then specify the full
path for the driver, eg. A:\WIN95, A:\WIN98, or A:\WIN2000.
(Specify A:\ for Windows 98)
5. Select "AOpen AON-201 10M PCI Ethernet Adapter". Click OK.
6. After specifying the settings, click OK on the properties page
to close the network windows.
7. The system will require some of the Windows 95/98/2000 installation
disks to install network support.
8. After copying the necessary files, select "Yes" to restart your
computer.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
