readme.txt Driver File Contents (g301ide2003.exe)

Enable IDE RAID:
1.	Press Ctrl-Alt-Esc into BIOS. 
2.	Select Advanced / IDE Configuration then press Enter.
3.	Select LSI Software RAID item then press Enter to setting Enabled. (Default is Disabled)
4.	Select Exit / Exit Saving Changes to exit BIOS setup.

RAID Drive Creation:
1.	Press Ctrl-M into MegaRAID IDE Setup Utility.
2.	Press F4 Create Array
3.	Move cursor to Array Type item field then press Enter, select correct STRIPE/MIRROR/RAID 10/SPARE POOL array 
	type then press Enter key. 
4.	Move cursor to Drive # item field then press Enter, select available DRIVE for attached then press Enter key to confirm Yes.
5.	Make sure Bootable item to Yes.
6.	Press F10 to Save and Exit the MegaRAID setup Utility.

Windows Server 2003 Installation:
1.	Boot from Windows Server 2003 Installation CD.
2.	Press F6 when following message displays: Setup is inspecting your computers hardware configuration. 
	(Press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver)
3.	Press "S" key to add a Specify Additional Device.
4.	Insert the MegaRAID diskette driver into floppy then press "ENTER" key.
5.	Select "LSI Logic CSB-6 IDE 100 RAID Controller (Server 2003)" then press "Enter" key.
6.	Press "Enter" key to continue.
7.	Continue with the installation procedure to complete.
	Note: During the installation, some dialog box will pop up,
	"LSI Logic CSB-6 IDE 100 RAID Controller has not passed Windows Logo Testing to verify its compatibility with this version of 	Windows." And " RAID Virtual Device". 
	Please ignore this warning message and press Yes to continue. 
8.	Into the Windows Server 2003 system to set the display resolution
9.	Adjustment the display resolution to "800x600" pixels and "High Color (16 bit)" colors.
10.	Make an Intel Gigabit 1000BaseT driver for Windows Server 2003 or copy the  "Resource CD Disk:\disk\intl1000.net" folder 
	to hard disk (C:\ or D:\).
11.	Double click the "System" icon on the Control Panel.
12.	Click "Hardware" item the below "Device Manager" button.
13.	Select "Network adapters" the under "Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Network Connection" then click on the mouse right button 
	to select "Properties". 
14.	Click "Driver" item the below "Update Driver" button.
15.	Insert the network diskette driver in floppy then click "Next" button when selected on 
	"Install the software automatically (Recommended)"
16.	Click "Finish" button to complete the driver update.
