How to Clean Install Drivers
------------------------------------
1. Copy the ZIP file to HDD. The recommended directory is C:\Audio.
2. Unzip it with -d option to store the sub-directories.
ex. PKUNZIP -d C:\Audio\*.ZIP C:\Audio.
3. Click on the "My Computer" icon, then change directory to "C:\Audio".
4. Click "setup.exe" icon, then click "Install" tab and follow displayed
procedures to setup program.
5. Reboot for the driver to be effective.
How to Update Drivers

It is the same as clean install.
How to Verify The Installation
------------------------------------
1. Click on the "My Computer" icon, then click on the "Control Panel" icon,
and then click on the "System" icon.
2. Select the "Hardware" tab and then click on the "Device Manager..." button.
3. Select the "Sound, video and game controllers" icon. The Cystal WDM Audio
Codec Driver should be listed. If not, the driver is not installed
correctly. To check the version of the driver, refer to the section below.
How to Uninstall Drivers

NOTE: This procedure assumes the above installation process was successful.
This uninstallation procedure is specific only to the version of the driver
and installation files included in this package.
1. Click on the "My Computer" icon, then change directory to "C:\Audio".
2. Click "setup.exe" icon, then click "Remove" tab and follow displayed
procedures to remove program.
How to install when using inf file:

1. Open Device Manager.
2. PCI Multimedia Device will have a yellow marker the
first time the operating system is installed.
3. Select "Properties" on the yellow marker.
4. Select the "Driver" tab.
5. Click on "Update Driver".
6. You will need the Windows Second Edition to complete
the WDM installation.
7. The entry that will show up in the Sound, Video, and
Game Controllers is: Crystal WDM AC'97 Driver for ICH4.
8. A little Sound Icon appears on the Task Bar upon
completing the driver installation.
How to uninstall when using inf file:

1. Open Device Manager.
2. Remove "Crystal WDM AC'97 Driver for ICH4" in the Sound, Video,
and Game Controllers section.
3. Delete Crystal INF in c:\windows\inf like as Cwawdm.inf, Cwawdm.pnf.
4. Restart your PC for Plug and Play to happen again.
How to check Driver Version
------------------------------------
View "C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\CWAWDM.SYS" item with file version.
How to Unattended Install or Remove Drivers
------------------------------------
1. Run "setup.exe -s" or "setup.exe /s" in command line to execute unattended
install.
2. Run "setup.exe -r -s" or "setup.exe /r /s" in command line to execute
unattended remove.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
