This ZIP archive contains the ZyXEL firmware 1.53(L.00) | 10/27/2000
for the IDSL leased-line router "ZyXEL Prestige P128L"

please use serial connection via P128L's console port and COMx on PC to 
flash the new files !!

1.) flash the "p128l.rom" configuration file using the command:     ATUR3
2.) flash the "p128l.bin" binary firmware file using the command:   ATUR
3.) restart the router by using the command:                        ATGO       
     
      All settings will be reset to factory defaults !
      The default SMT password will be "1234" and the 
      serial port's baudrate is set to 9600bps/8N1 again.
 
ATTENTION: all current settings will be erased when upgrading to 
      this new default configuration setting.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
