\UTILITY\DRIVER\PTP_WFW\READ1ST.TXT Kingston Technology Company Windows For Workgroups Driver for Fast EtheRx 10/100TX Print Server Version 1.0, January 06, 1999 Copyright (C) 1999 Kingston Technology Company. All rights reserved. ================================================================ Notes: 1. This utility is prepared for Windows For Workgroups users. It requires that the NetBEUI protocol be set as the default transport protocol. 2. If you see "Can not allocate NCBs" error message when you start up this utility, please quit the utility and restart Windows For Workgroups system because the system is unstable. The problem might be introduced by some other applications which are executed before you start the utility. 3. If you connect a printer to a port file, please do NOT configure it as a network share printer. This utility saves printout data into a port file. This port file is associated with the printer. The port file is then sent to the remote print server when all print data is saved completely. It may be overwritten if the printer is configured as a network share printer when some network users print documents through the same printer at the same time. This may introduce printing errors. 4. The Setup disk includes a built-in uninstallation program. It cannot remove items added after the installation, or directories and folders that contain items added after the installation. After running the uninstallation program, you may manually remove the installation directory and its subdirectories. ================================================================ TECHNICAL SUPPORT INFORMATION Accessing the Kingston BBS for the Latest Information The Kingston BBS can be accessed by using a modem and a communications program to call the BBS at 714-435-2636.
