For multiple-port Print Server (*** very important ***) During configuration Print Server, program will auto-assign Port Name to be Print Server device name. But for multiple-port, it will cause Port Name duplicate and show up error message. So, please append _P1, _P2, _L1, _L2 ... string for the multiple- port Print Server. 2. Print Server Driver: The Setup program adds the driver, prtserv.dll, to the Windows\System (or WinNT\System32) directory. The driver allows you to add a printer using Windows 95/98/NT's Printer Wizard. The Print Server driver should be installed on all Windows 95/98/NT PCs for peer-to-peer printing. ================================================================ TECHNICAL SUPPORT INFORMATION Accessing the Kingston BBS for the Latest Information The Kingston BBS can be accessed by using a modem and a communications program to call the BBS at 714-435-2636. Communications settings are no parity, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit (xxxxx-N-8-1, where xxxxx is your modem's maximum speed). After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
