Known Issues and Limitations
----------------------------

* Optional Kodak A3 or Legal Flatbed Accessories should be installed and powered on before starting the Kodak Picture Saver Scanning
System software application. Otherwise, the flatbed will not be detected as active and the flatbed scan button will be disabled.

* Optional Kodak A3 Flatbed Accessory fails to return an image file when scanning at high DPI resolution and compression. The resulting
file size is too large for memory. Lower the selected DPI resolution and compression to 300 DPI JPEG Best and rescan the photo.

* The Photo Selector Accessory may be used with images at 300 dpi and 600 dpi only.

* Conflict with Kodak All-in-One software - Installing or upgrading the Kodak All-in-One software after installing the
Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System software may remove the PS80 registry entries. This will disable the
Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System software from running and instead the software will open the product registration
screen to register the product. If this occurs, reinstall and reregister your Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System software.

* Conflicts with other Applications - Some image viewers and backup programs that monitor the hard drive for new image
files may access files in the output folder while they are in use by the Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System. This may cause
functions (Retouch, Rotate and Auto-Rotate) to not work properly. Turn off watched folder and backup synchronization functionality
for other image products when scanning photos or un-install the products. The HP TouchSmart Cyberlink Media Library Service
(CLMLSvc.exe) and Western Digital SmartWare and Memeo Sync backup software are known to cause problems.

* wk1128 wkwin32.dll error - The Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System software license utility will not operate
when using WIBU version 4.10C, which may have been installed with KODAK Capture Software Lite. When installing
Capture Software Lite after installing the Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System do NOT overwrite the WIBU drivers
with the Capture Software Lite WIBU drivers. Instead select "Yes" to keep the current WIBU drivers or reinstall
the latest WIBU drivers from the Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System software CD.

* Data Execution Prevention error - The Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System software will not function properly when Windows
Data Execution Prevention feature is turned on. In Control Panel -> System -> Advanced Tab -> Performance Settings ->
Data Execution Prevention Tab select the first radio button: Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only
OR leave the second radio button selected and add an exception by clicking the Add button and browsing to
  C:\Program Files\Kodak\Picture Saver System PS80\PrintScan.exe

     For other workarounds see:
     http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875352/EN-US/

* Uninstall will not remove the photos from the output folder directory (by default C:\Scanned_Pictures). To do a
complete uninstall so that photo files are removed, you must manually delete the output folder directory.

Using Windows Restricted User Accounts
--------------------------------------

For the Kodak Picture Saver Scanning System software to work properly, the Windows user account must
have full control of the TARGET_PATH folder specified in PrintScan.ini:

	C:\Scanned_Pictures

NOTE: The directory name shown above is the installation default. The actual directory name used may be different.
