How to use this file.
1. Download the file to the c:\ directory.
2. In Windows 98 click on the START button.
3. Under the start menu click on RUN.
4. In the command line type in c:\Athen_98.exe. The driver files will
extract into the C:\Dell\modem directory
5. Click on the START button
6. Under the Start menu choose settings and click on CONTROL PANEL.
7. In Control Panel click on ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.
8. In the Add/Remove programs select the MDP3900V-U Modem.
9. Click on the ADD/REMOVE button.
10. CLick YES to remove the existing driver.
11. Restart the computer, when prompted for the location of the driver,
select "Specify a Location" and type in C:\Dell\Modem. Follow the screen
to complete the installation.
Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
