ICCプロファイルのインストールについて


1. 概要

 お使いのプリンタで使用できる用紙種類に対応したICCプロファイルをインストール
 します。
 プリンタドライバや汎用アプリケーションで、お使いの用紙種類や印刷品質に合わせて
 ICCプロファイルを利用したいときに便利です。

 注意：
 - 一部のICCプロファイルは、ドライバインストール時およびMedia Configuration 
   Toolインストール時に自動的にインストールされます。
 - 全ての用紙種類に対応しているわけではありません。
 - ICC プロファイルをインストールするには、管理者権限でログインする必要が
   あります。

  Windowsは、アメリカ合衆国およびその他の国で登録されているMicrosoft 
  Corporationの商標です。
  Macintoshは、アメリカ合衆国およびその他の国で登録されているApple Inc.の
  商標です。


2. ICC プロファイルのインストール方法

 Windowsの場合
「User Software CD-ROM」の[ソフトウェア個別インストール]で、ICCプロファイルの
 [インストール]ボタンをクリックすると、コンピュータのデスクトップに
 [iPFxxxx_ICC_profiles]フォルダが作成されます。

 [iPFxxxx_ICC_profiles]フォルダ、またはWebサイトからダウンロードした
 ICCプロファイルを解凍してできたフォルダには以下のファイルが入っています。
 - ICCプロファイル（.ICC）
 - ICCプロファイルと用紙種類の対応表 (iPFxxxx_ICCprofile_Japanese.pdf)
 - Readme_Japanese.txt (このファイル)

 ICCプロファイルを右クリックし、［プロファイルのインストール］を選択して
 ください。

 - Microsoft Windows Server 2003/Microsoft Windows XP/Microsoft Windows 2000
   をご使用の場合［プロファイルの削除］または［プロファイルのアンインストール］
   と表示された場合は操作を中止し、対象のICC プロファイルを以下のフォルダに
   上書きコピーしてください。
   • 「Windows システムフォルダ/System32/spool/drivers/color/」

 - Microsoft Windows 7/Microsoft Windows Server 2008/Microsoft Windows Vistaを
   ご使用の場合［プロファイルのインストール］を選択した後に、対象の
   ICCプロファイルを以下のフォルダに上書きコピーしてください。
   • 「Windows システムフォルダ/System32/spool/drivers/color/」

 Macintoshの場合
「User Software CD-ROM」で、[ICCプロファイル]のチェックボックスをオンにして
 実行すると、コンピュータのデスクトップに[iPFxxxx_ICC_profiles]フォルダが
 作成されます。

 [iPFxxxx_ICC_profiles]フォルダ、またはWebサイトからダウンロードした
 ICCプロファイルを解凍してできたフォルダには以下のファイルが入っています。
 - ICCプロファイル（.ICC）
 - ICCプロファイルと用紙種類の対応表 (iPFxxxx_ICCprofile_Japanese.pdf)
 - Readme_Japanese.txt (このファイル)
 
 ICC プロファイルを以下のフォルダにコピーしてください。
   • 「/ライブラリ/ColorSync/Profiles/」

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
