1. INTRODUCTION
=================================================================
This document provides information to help you properly run DSC100Link
1.0.0.1, hereafter called DLK.
It deals with last minute additions and changes to the user
documentations as well as compatibility issues and possible problem
causes and is intended to be read prior to the installation of
DLK.

2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
=================================================================
To install and run DLK, you need the following:
* Personal Computer with a Intel 486 processor or higher
* Windows 95/98 operating system
* At least 10MB of free hard disk space
* 8MB of RAM (16MB recommended)

3. Installation
=================================================================
3.1 To install DLK, simply run the Setup.exe found on Disk1.
Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.
3.2 To Uninstall, simply run the Uninstall.exe found on Directory
on which you installed DLK.
3.3 Before install DLK, it's suggested to make specified Directory
(Folder) to install DLK on it.
3.4 If you have trouble uninstalling the program, it can be manually
uninstalled using the following steps:
1) Open Windows Explorer or Click on My Computer.
2) Change Directories (Folder) to where DLK is installed.
3) Select all the files in this directory.
(Click the Top File and then Hold Down Shift and Click at the Bottom)
4) Press the Delete Key on the Keyboard.
5) Install Updated Version of DLK.

4. Operation

DLK is to mount the picture files stored on DSC-100 and save them
onto PC Memory drives(HDD, MO, --- etc).
To start DLK, just double click DLK icon.
4.1 To mount the picture files from DSC-100, Click 'Update' button,
when you can see numbers of files on window.
4.2 To save the picture onto PC, Click designated file on window
and Click 'Save' button.
You can specify the folder to save files on according to
the onscreen prompts.
4.3 To delete the pictures from DSC-100, Click designated file on window
and Click 'Delete' button.
4.4 If you want to save or delete all the files at once, Click
'Select All' to choose all the files (or Click the Top File and then
Hold Down Shift and Click at the Bottom) and Click 'Save' or 'Delete'.
4.5 You can re-format built-in memory on DSC-100, which result to
delete all the files, clicking 'Memory Clear' button.
It may take longer time to complete process than delete all the files
by step 4.4.
4.6 To view the picture, Click 'View' button and specified viewer
application will be activated to open the file.
The Viewer can be nominated by clicking 'Configuration' and follow
the onscreen prompts.
4.7 'Configuration' can set communication port on PC and transfer
speed.
To shut down DLK, Click 'Exit' button.

6.1 DSC hardware/software and cables
DLK is intended to be used with the DSC-100 and enclosed RS232C cable.
DLK does not work with DSC other than the ones specified.

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
