I. Netware 5.X Server Driver Installation
====================================================

      1. Turn OFF your PC machine.
      2. Plug the "CNet ProG-2000L Gigabit Ethernet PCI Adapter" into the PCI slot
         of PC machine.
      3. Startup your Netware 5.X Server.
      4. Run "LOAD NWCONFIG" on Netware console.

           console: LOAD NWCONFIG

      5. Select "Driver options" in the Installation Options.
      6. Select "Configure network drivers" in the Driver Options.
      7. Select "Select a driver" in the Additional Driver Actions.
      8. Press <Insert> key to install an unlisted driver.
      9. Press <F3> key to specify a different path.
     10. Insert the Driver diskette to the floppy (Drive A) and
         enter "A:\NWServer\5.X" to specify a directory path.
     11. Select "CNet ProG-2000L Gagibit Ethernet PCI Adapter" to install.
     12. Enter the HIN Slot Number to the Slot field of the driver parameters.
     13. Following the screen prompt to complete the driver installation.




I. Netware 4.X Server Driver Installation
====================================================

      1. Turn OFF your PC machine.
      2. Plug the "CNet ProG-2000L Gigabit Ethernet PCI Adapter" into the PCI slot
         of PC machine.
      3. Startup your Netware 4.X Server.
      4. Type unload ethertsm
              unload msm
              load a:\NWServer\4.X\ethertsm

      5. Run "LOAD NWCONFIG" on Netware console.

           console: LOAD NWCONFIG

      6. Select "Driver options" in the Installation Options.
      7. Select "Configure network drivers" in the Driver Options.
      8. Select "Select a driver" in the Additional Driver Actions.
      9. Press <Insert> key to install an unlisted driver.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
