A. Installation Procedure
=========================
Following example is executed on Protocol Ethernet_802.2 and Server driver is
DM9PCI.COM.

 1. Using the steps booted from drive A (see DOS ODI Readme.TXT). Create the
    Autoexec.bat in Drive A as:

      LSL
      DM9PCI
      IPXODI
      NETX or VLM
      F:
      LOGIN
 
 2. After you booting from Drive A, do following actions:

      In Server
       :Load rpl frame=ethernet_802.2
       :Bind rpl to DM910X

      In Workstation
       F:>cd\system
       F:SYSTEM>dosgen
       F:SYSTEM>copy net$dos.sys f:\login
       F:SYSTEM>logout

 3. Power off your PC, remove diskette from drive A, and power on again.


B. Install BOOTCONF.SYS
=======================
 1. Rename the NET$DOS.SYS to PRO200WL.SYS(can use any name you want).

 2. Create BOOTCONF.SYS in SYS:\LOGIN directory if you have multiple boot
    images.

 3. The BOOTCONF.SYS file format(TXT) is as below:
    Node ID Number = Boot images files

    Example: Single Boot Images
    0x0080ADxxxxxx = NE2000.SYS
    0x0080ADxxxxxx = PRO200WL.SYS

    Example: Multiple Boot Images
    0x0080ADxxxxxx = NE2000.SYS PRO200WL.SYS
    0x*,* = NE2000.SYS PRO200WL.SYS (All the node)

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
