1.  Introducción

EpsonNet Print Ver.2.4 soporta Windows 95 OSR2, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008, 7 y Server 2008R2. A menos que se mencione una versión específica Windows, La información contenida en este fichero se aplica a todas las versiones de Windows.

2.  Limitaciones

2-1. Imprimir con privilegios de usuario restringidos (sólo Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista/Server 2008/7/Server 2008R2)

  La impresión se puede realizar normalmente con los privilegios de usuario restringidos. Sin embargo, no aparece el estado de la impresora en la ventana de Impresoras y en la ventana de la cola de impresión. Para ver el estado en la ventana de la cola de impresión, debe tener los permisos de "Gestionar Impresoras" para la cola de impresión.

2-2. Reinstalación de EpsonNet Print (sólo Windows 95 OSR2/98/Me)

  Después de la reinstalación de EpsonNet Print, aparece un mensaje de puerto no válido cuando se envía un trabajo de impresión. Para solucionar este problema, reinicie el sistema.

2-3. Impresión LPR Estándar
  Para algunos drivers de impresora, la impresión con el protocolo LPR estándar no funciona. En este caso, le recomendamos que use otros protocolos para estos drivers de impresora.
  Impresoras Láser:
 	AL-C8500, AL-C2000, EPL-5800

  Impresoras Inyección de Tinta:
	Stylus Pro 9500, Stylus Pro 7500, Stylus Pro 5500

  Impresoras Matriciales:
	LQ-570e, LQ-580, LX-300+, LQ-680, LQ-680Pro

2-4. Protocolo Impresión Alta-velocidad
  Las impresoras EPL-N4000 y EPL-N2700 no soportan el protocolo de impresión de alta velocidad. En este caso, le recomendamos que use otros protocolos para estas impresoras.

2-5. Tarjeta Interface de red (Número de Modelo : C82362*)
  Si la versión de software es anterior que la Ver01.50, sólo está disponible el protocolo LPR estándar. La versión de software se describe en <Información General> de la hoja de status.

2-6. Impresión (sólo Windows 95)
  La impresión puede ser muy lenta si el ajuste de spooler está ajustado como sigue:
 1) La impresión se realiza directamente a la impresora.
 2) El formato de los datos del Spool es EMF.

2-7. Impresión LPR mejorada y Protocolos de Impresión Alta-Velocidad (sólo Windows 95 OSR2/98/Me)
  Para las impresoras Matriciales, si el tipo de alimentación de papel es alimentación manual, el driver de la impresora Matricial muestra el cuadro de diálogo "Por favor, inserte papel" para cada hoja de papel. Si no pulsa Aceptar, en unos minutos aparece el cuadro de diálogo de error de impresión, y la impresión se para.

 (Solución 1)
 Se debe usar el protocolo de impresión estándar LPR.

 (Solución 2)
 Escoja otro tipo de alimentación de papel.

2-8. Nombre de puerto (sólo en Windows Me/98/95 OSR2)
  Para poder imprimir, el nombre del puerto debe tener 2 o más letras. Es una restricción de la Cola de impresión.

2-9. NombreHost (DNS)
  No se puede configurar Tipo de puerto como NombreHost (DNS) si el FQDN tiene más de 200 caracteres (200 bytes).
  Registre un FQDN de 200 caracteres como máximo o seleccione otro tipo de puerto.

2-10. Buscando una impresora de red
 Los siguientes modelos no figuran en la [Lista de impresoras] aunque estén conectados a la red.
 Seleccione "Ajuste manual" y escriba el puerto.
  Impresoras Láser:
 	EPL-N4000, EPL-N2700

3.   Problemas y soluciones

Si tiene problemas, compruebe los siguientes problemas y soluciones para encontrar una solución.

3-1. Se necesitan tener privilegios de administrador para instalar el producto en Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008, 7 o Server 2008R2. 

3-2. Cuando el ordenador host está en una red Clase B (128.0.0.0~191.255.255.255) y la impresora está en una red Clase C (192.0.0.0~233.255.255.255), la pantalla "¿Para qué impresora quiere añadir el puerto?" del asistente Añadir Puerto de EpsonNet Print puede no mostrar la impresora.

 (Solución)
 Entre la dirección de la impresora directamente en la pantalla Añadir Puerto de EpsonNet Print.

3-3. (sólo Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003) Cuando EpsonNet Direct Print 2 está instalado en su sistema, el servicio Print Spooler y sus servicios dependientes deben reiniciarse. Antes de proceder, complete todos los trabajos de impresión.

4.  Solución de Problemas cuando falla EPSON Status Monitor 3
    Cuando se usa EpsonNet Print con algunas impresoras, EPSON Status Monitor 3 puede fallar al comunicar con las impresoras. Como resultado, puede aparecer un error de comunicación. 

4-1 El EPSON Status Monitor 3 puede mostrar un error de comunicación con las siguientes impresoras.
  Impresoras Láser:
  	EPL-C8200, EPL-5700L/I, EPL-5800L, EPL-N2050, EPL-N2050+, EPL-N1210, EPL-5800,
	EPL-N4000+, EPL-N2750, AL-C8500, AL-C2000, EPL-N2120, EPL-5900, EPL-1220,
	EPL-5900L, AL-C1000, AL-C4000, AL-C7000, AL-C8600, EPL-6100, AL-C1900, AL-C900,
	EPL-6100L, EPL-N2500

  Impresoras de Inyección de Tinta:
	Stylus COLOR 980, Stylus Pro 9600, Stylus Pro 7600, Stylus Pro 10600UC, 
	Stylus Pro 10600DYE, Stylus Pro 10600CF, Stylus Photo 950, Stylus Photo 2100, 
	Stylus Photo 2200, Stylus C82
 
  Impresoras Matriciales:
	DLQ-3500, LX-1170, LQ-300+, LQ-1150, LX-300+, LQ-570e, LQ-580, LQ-630, 
	LQ-680/680Pro, FX-880+, FX-1180+, FX-890, FX-2190

  Otras:
	Stylus CX3100, Stylus CX3200, Stylus CX5100, Stylus CX5200

   Para elimianr el error, cree un puerto EpsonNet Print usando las siguientes soluciones.
    
    (Solución 1)
    1) Entre la dirección IP de la impresora directamente en la pantalla Entrada Dirección del asistente de EpsonNet Print Port, y luego pulse Siguiente.
    2) Pulse Finalizar.

    (Solución 2)
    1) Seleccione la impresora de la Lista de Impresoras en la pantalla "¿Para qué impresora quiere añadir el puerto?" de Red, y luego pulse Siguiente.
    2) Seleccione la dirección IP(manual) de la "Tipo de puerto".
    3) Pulse Finalizar.

4-2 Para impresora no listadas arriba, si ocurre un error de comunicación con EPSON Status Monitor 3, le recomendamos que se descargue la última versión del EPSON Status Monitor 3 de la página web y lo instale.
