Novell NetWare 5.0
------------------
This directory contains the Novell NetWare v5.0 server LAN driver.
This server driver is written to the latest Novell driver specifications.
Manual Installation
-------------------
1) Load NWCONFIG at the server console.
Select Driver Installation option | Select Driver
A list of drivers will display.
2) Press INS key to install driver from the driver disk provided.
3) Press F3 key to change the path to A:\NW5.0 where the driver is.
4) Press ENTER to select the adapter "Compex ReadyLINK Express 10/100 PCI
Fast Ethernet Adapter"
5) Enter the SLOT number where the adapter is installed in the PC.
Skip if do not know [See note (5a) on adding the slot number later as
described below].
6) By default all 4 frames types Ethernet 802.2, 802.3, II and SNAP will be
loaded. To chose only the necessary frame types, position the cursor at the
protocol box at the top. Then press F3 key will display the Frame selection
box. Mark to select by pressing the ENTER key and TAB key to skip to the
next option. Press F10 to save and returm to driver configuration menu.
7) Press F10 to save.
Notes:-
(5a) In doing so, the driver loading process will fail to
complete and a timeout screen will appear and ask to switch the to console
screen. From the console The driver should have scanned and found the slot
where the card is installed. Record the number. You may have to manually
edit the AUTOEXEC.NCF file to add the slot number to the line that loads
the RE100.LAN driver. e.g., if the slot number is 1
LOAD RE100 Slot=1 Frame=Ethernet_802.2 Name=RE100_1_802
BIND IPX RE100_1_802 net=12345678

Download Driver Pack
After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.
Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
