The cover page of the manual is located at: \manual\manual.htm Installing the Driver --------------------- 1. Start up Windows 98. 2. Plug your GenX500 USB into a USB port. 3. Your PC will automatically detect your GenX500 USB. 4. Your PC should display a message that it has detected a HID interface device. Click "Next" to continue. 5. Choose the second option, "Display a list of all the device drivers in a specific location". 6. Click "Next" to continue. 7. Click "Have Disk" button. 8. Insert Device disk into drive A. Then click OK. 9. "QuickShot GenX500 USB joystick" will be selected, click "Next" to continue. 10. Click "Next" to continue. 11. Click "Finish" to complete. 12. Goto 'Game controllers' in control panel to calibrate your GenX500 USB joystick. Calibrate your GenX500 USB before playing games ----------------------------------------------- The GenX500 USB must be calibrated before playing games. 1. After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.
Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).
If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.
Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.
Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.
Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.
