1. Introduction
===============

AMD Adaptive S4 ACPI driver is a communication vehicle between the App and the BIOS' adaptive S4 related ACPI objects.


2. System Requirements
======================

Ensure that you are using a supported operating system and have the required files.


3. Supported Operating Systems
==============================

Win8,win8.1 & Win10 32-bit and 64-bit.


4. Included Files
=================

x86\AmdAS4.sys     	32-bit Adaptive S4 ACPI device driver
x64\AmdAS4.sys	    64-bit Adaptive S4 ACPI device driver
AmdAS4.inf         	Installation setup script
AmdAS4.cat         	Digital signature (only if the driver is certified)


5. Installing And Uninstalling Instructions For The Driver

To install, in Windows Device Manager, right click target device and select 
"Install Driver..." or "Update Driver...".

To uninstall, in Windows Device Manager, right click target device and select
"Uninstall".


6. Troubleshooting
==================

If you encounter any problems, uninstall the driver and reboot the computer.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
