QuickShot USB Strike Pad Driver for Windows 98 Rev.1

Manual
------
The USB Strike Pad's manual is stored inside this driver disk in HTML
format. You need to open it with the browser such as Microsoft Internet
Explore or Netscape Navigator.

The cover page of the manual is "menu.html".


Installing the Driver
---------------------
1.  Plug your USB Strike Pad into an USB port.

2.  Your PC will automatically detect your USB Strike Pad.

3.  Your PC should display a message that it has detected a HID interface
    device. Click "Next" to continue.

4.  Choose the second option, "Display a list of all the device drivers
    in a specific location".

5.  Click "Next" to continue.

6.  Click "Have Disk" button.

7.  Insert Device disk into drive A. Then click OK.

8.  "QuickShot USB Strike Pad" will be selected, click "Next" to continue.

9.  Click "Next" to continue.

10. Click "Finish" to complete.

11. Goto 'Game controllers' in control panel to calibrate your USB Strike
    Pad.


Calibrate your USB Strike Pad before playing games
--------------------------------------------------
The USB Strike Pad must be calibrated before playing games.

1.  Go to "Game Controllers" in the Control Panel.

2.  Click Properties/Calibrate.

3.  Follow the instructions for calibration.

4.  Go to "Test" tab to test the joypad.

5.  After finish testing, click "Apply"

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
