Dear Sirs,

Thanks for using our Modem. Following is V.90 standard upgrade procedure.
This Zip file includes Win'95 driver and V.90 upgrade program.


------------------------  Upgrade Procedure  ------------------------------

((WARNING WARNING WARNING))
During the upgrade, NEVER let any interruption happen or let your modem
power off.


A. For Internal Modem:

(1) Under Win'95/98, please run V90WIZ.EXE and follow the instructions to 
    upgrade your modem to V.90 standard.
(2) After finishing the upgrade, follow the steps to change your system
    setting.

    --> Double click <My Computer>
    --> Double Click <Control Panel>
    --> Double click <Modems>
    --> Remove "56ooobps Internal Fax Voice Modem"
    --> Clik the "Add" bottom; mark "Don't run the Hardwar Installation 
        Wizard"; then clik "Next".
    --> Mark "Don't detect my modem; I will select it from a list". Click
        "Next"
    --> Click "Have Disk"; please choose the "aulmdm1.inf" which comes with
        our Zip file, then click "OK".
    --> Choose "V.90 Internal Fax Voice Modem", Click "Next"
    --> Select the COM Port you use, then click "Next".
    --> Click "Finish"


B. For External Modem:

(1) Please turn on your modem.
(2) Under Win'95/98, please run V90WIZ.EXE and follow the instructions to 
    upgrade your modem to V.90 standard.
(3) Restart System after finishing the upgrade.
(4) Your system will automatically dedect your modem, then show Found
    "V.90MODEM".
(5) Please choose the "aulmdm1.inf" which comes with our Zip file, then
    Click "OK".
(6) Finished

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
