This package installs the Intel(r) Ready Mode Technology Software to the target system.

* 2.  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS 

************************************************************

1.  Intel CPU



2.  One of the following operating systems must be 

    fully installed and running on the system

    before installing this software:



    Microsoft Windows* 7 32/64bit SP1

    Microsoft Windows* 8.1 64bit

    Microsoft Windows* 10 32/64bit

  

3.  Close any running applications to avoid installation problems.



4.  Remove any previously installed versions of the software from 

    the system before installing the Intel(r) Ready Mode 

    Technology software

* 3.  CONTENTS OF THE DISTRIBUTION PACKAGE

The Intel(R) Ready Mode Technology Software package contains the 

following items:

* 4.  Setup Options

************************************************************

    -s       Silent Install

    -h       display help (not only works from Administrative Command Prompt)





Log file is created named iRMTInstall.log. If the install directory is not writable, 

the installation log will be created in the %TEMP% directory.

* 5.  INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE IN INTERACTIVE MODE

************************************************************

1.  Verify that all system requirements have been met as 

    described in Section 2 above.



2.  Run the installation program setup.exe.

* 6.  INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE IN SILENT MODE

************************************************************

1.  Verify that all system requirements have been met as 

    described in section 2.



2.  From a command window in a folder where the Intel(r) Ready Mode Technology 

    installer is present, using the following command: setup.exe -s



Note that this command will also create or overwrite an installation log file in the same folder, which will always be named iRMTInstall.log. If the install directory is not writable, the installation log will be created in the %TEMP% directory.



This command does not uninstall Intel(r) Ready Mode Technology, it will update from previous to current version without manual uninstall.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
