SINGLE END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT for HighPoint SOFTWARE IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY. 

This software End-User License Agreement("EULA") is a legal AGREEMENT between you (as a registered individual user and on behave of single entity) and HighPoint Technologies, Inc. For RAID Administrator software product identified above, which product includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, and "online", electronics documentation("SOFTWARE PRODUCT"). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the term of this "EULA". If you do not agree to the term of this "ELUA", then DO NOT install or use SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you may, however, return it to your place of purchase for a full refund. 

SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed not sold. 

(1) GRANT OF LICENSE:  
User have the non-exclusive right to use one copy of the enclosed program. This program can only be used on a single computer. User may not network the software or otherwise use it on more than one computer at the same time. User may not reverse engineer or disassemble the software. 

(2) BACKUP AND TRANSFER:
User may make one copy of the software solely for back-up purpose. User has no other right to copy. User must reproduce and include the copyright notice on the back-up copy. User may not transfer or assign rights in the software to third party except with the express written consent of HPT. User may not sublicense the software or distribute copies or adaptations of the software to any thirty party in physical media or by telecommunications. 

(3) OWNERSHIP:
The software program is owned by HPT.  User agrees that User does not have any title, or ownership of the software, other than ownership of the physical media. 

(4) TERMINATION:
HighPoint Technologies, Inc. may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or to return the software and all copies to HPT. 

(5) UPDATES, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT:
User agrees that the software does not include updates, maintenance or support, which may be available pursuant to a separate agreement. 

(6) LIMITED WARRANTY:  
HPT warrants that the disk upon which the program is furnished will be, under normal use, free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery to the User. HPT's entire liability, and User's exclusive remedy under this warranty, shall be either (a) replacement of the defective disk without charge or, at HPT's option, (b) to refund the license fee, and terminate this agreement. EXCEPT FOR THE ABOVE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY, HPT MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY AND HPT SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. HPT does not warrant that the operation of the program will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties so the above may not apply to you. 

(7) LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES:
IN NO EVENT SHALL HPT BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS OR FOR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER HPT HAS NOTICE OF THE POTENTIAL FOR ANY SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE. The total liability of HPT for any claim or damage arising out of the use or inability to use the software or otherwise related to this agreement, and whether in contract or in tort, shall be limited to direct damages which shall not exceed the license fee paid by User. Some states do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of damages so the above may not apply to you. 

(8) MISC:  
If any term or condition of this Agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. This Agreement shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
