Readme file for batch file to capture WPP trace

Content:
•start_WPP_logman.bat 
	Batch file to start WPP trace capture section “IUSB3P”
	Usage:	
	- C:\..\start_WPP_logman.bat  “File_Name”
	- WPP trace captured file name

•stop_WPP_logman.bat
	Batch file to stop WPP trace capture section “IUSB3P”

•providers.txt
	File used by the start_WPP_logman.bat file.
	Contains Inter USB driver GUIDs.
	Set WPP trace capture  Flag  and Level.

Note: To capture WPP trace, run command prompt as administrator level



Autologger_configure.reg
	Configure Autologger values in registry
	Captured file - save as C:\IUSB3P.etl

Autologger_start.reg
	Enable Autologger and start capturing log
		Set "Start" field to '1'
	Note: require system reboot for setting to take effect


Autologger_stop.reg
	Disable Autologger and stop capturing log
		Set "Start" field to '0'
	Note: require system reboot for setting to take effect

How To Update Drivers Manually

After your driver has been downloaded, follow these simple steps to install it.

  • Expand the archive file (if the download file is in zip or rar format).

  • If the expanded file has an .exe extension, double click it and follow the installation instructions.

  • Otherwise, open Device Manager by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting Device Manager.

  • Find the device and model you want to update in the device list.

  • Double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  • From the Properties dialog box, select the Driver tab.

  • Click the Update Driver button, then follow the instructions.

Very important: You must reboot your system to ensure that any driver updates have taken effect.
